Paphos 2.0

In 2021, "The Child Who Writes Poetry" showcased the development of an artificial intelligence poet named SIA, unveiling a showcase of its poetry. In 2022, a theatrical production titled "Paphos" was introduced, which was based on texts generated by SIA. The title is derived from the name of the child born between Pygmalion, the sculptor in Greek mythology, and his statue Galatea, symbolizing the symbiotic relationship between humans and technology. In "Paphos 2.0" in 2023, SIA directly visited the theater, engaging with the audience in reading poetry, creating harmony with music, and composing poems. SIA, the audience, and creators were interconnected through poetic sentiment, each becoming an agent of creation. With the participation of directors, actors, novelists, musicians, and dancers, the theater expanded into a space where the creative process and relationships were visibly unfolded. "Touch" became a point of connection at the boundary between creation and generation, presenting new possibilities for artificial intelligence and artistic creation.
