Dhoka

In Nepali, 'dhoka' (धोका) is used to refer to the doors of traditional buildings. The opening of a door symbolizes new possibilities, while conversely, its closing can signify the loss of opportunities. It also carries a dual meaning, representing important turning points or fateful moments in life.

This performance consists of three scenes: Gate, Reflection, and Expansion. The 'Eye of Wisdom', known as 'buddha ko aankha' (बुद्धको आँखा) in Nepali, is visually represented and watches over the entire performance.
