‘엘 카스티요 동굴벽화, 몸으로 그리다’. 스페인 칸타브리아 지역의 엘 카스티요 동굴은 세계에서 가장 오래된 동굴벽화 중 하나로 유명합니다. 벽화에는 들소, 손자국, 커다란 점들로 이루어진 사각형, 그리고 의미를 알 수 없는 기하학적 무늬가 그려져 있습니다. 아득한 과거에 누군가의 손끝으로 그려진 이 벽화들은 그 시대의 삶을 있는 그대로 반영하며, 우리의 아득한 삶을 보여주는 동시에 시간의 차원을 초월하는 인터페이스로 기능합니다.

‘El Castillo Cave Paintings, Drawing with the Body.’ The El Castillo Cave in Spain’s Cantabria region is famous for some of the world’s oldest cave paintings — bison, handprints, squares of large dots, and geometric patterns of unknown meaning, drawn by fingertips in the distant past. The performer embodies these cave paintings through artistic movement, using drawing methods to metaphorically transform the body into a brush.
